No legal entity has been registered yet. The operator must supply the entity name, address and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until then, these terms describe the conditions under which the Jsonhalt tool is made available.
By using Jsonhalt, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tool.
Jsonhalt is a JSON diagnostic tool. It accepts a URL or pasted JSON text and returns a diagnostic analysis. It is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied.
You agree not to:
Jsonhalt is provided without any warranty. The diagnostic output is generated from the data received and parsed. The tool may report incorrect or incomplete results. You use the tool at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Jsonhalt shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the tool, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Jsonhalt does not maintain user accounts. No user registration, login, or persistent identity is required to use the tool. No user data is stored server-side.
Jsonhalt does not store any data server-side. URL analyses are processed in memory and returned immediately; the data is not retained. Text analyses occur entirely in your browser. There is no database, queue, or persistent storage backend.
Jsonhalt does not send email, notifications, digests, alerts, or scheduled reports. There is no email sender available in the infrastructure.
Pro subscription. A Pro subscription grants access to URL fetch, response content-type analysis, error-dressed-as-success detection, and redirect-chain reporting (up to 5 hops). The Free tier (local JSON text parsing in the browser) is not affected by subscription status and never requires payment.
Price and period. The Pro subscription costs $5 per month (USD), billed monthly in advance. Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period unless cancelled. Customers may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period and is then downgraded to Free.
Failed payments. If a payment charge fails (e.g. expired card, insufficient funds), the charge is retried automatically up to three times over the following seven days. If all retries fail, access to Pro features is suspended and the subscription is marked as past-due. The customer is notified via the tool interface. The subscription is cancelled if payment is not received within 30 days of the first failed charge.
Refunds. Refunds are issued at the operator’s discretion on a case-by-case basis. Because the service is provided on a monthly basis with no long-term commitment, refunds are generally considered only for billing errors or extended platform unavailability rather than for non-use or change of mind. To request a refund, contact the operator through the available support channel.
No payment processor is wired yet. The Pro checkout displayed on the pricing page is a demonstration flow. No real payment is taken, no subscription is created, and no data is stored server-side when you interact with it. These billing terms will take effect once a payment provider (such as Stripe) is connected.
Governing law has not been specified. The operator must supply a jurisdiction before these terms are legally binding. Until then, no governing law is claimed.
These terms may be updated. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
